Did you know that Huntington Lake is considered one of the best sailing lakes in the entire world? Not country, world!! If you are a sailing enthusiast, The Huntington Lake High Sierra Regatta is a must. If you’ve never been sailing but enjoy relaxing in the sun on a beautiful lake, prepare to be wowed and amazed. There is a championship event already scheduled:
There are several other similarly fantastic events including the 2018 Commodore’s Classic Open Regatta at Huntington Lake on June 23rd and 24th. If you are into sailing, you have to look into these and the other events online. Really though, you can’t go wrong with choosing to visit Huntington Lake any weekend during the summer, and if you live at 36714 Peterson Road it is a half hour drive up Highway 168! Here are just a few shots from the last time we visited this past summer:
